Spanish media outlet Relevo reports a rift within Real Madrid’s hierarchy regarding the future of young midfielder Arda Güler.

While the club intends to keep Güler for next season, officials are divided on the best path for his development.

Some advocate for a loan spell to grant him more playing time and experience. This approach has proven successful for other young talents like Fede Valverde and Ibrahim Diaz who thrived after temporary stints away from the Bernabéu.

However, others believe Güler would benefit more from staying put and learning from the likes of Luka Modrić and Toni Kroos. Training alongside these seasoned veterans could accelerate his development within the club’s system.

The decision will likely hinge on Güler’s performances in the remaining matches of the season. His own preference also factors in, as he reportedly favors staying with Real Madrid.
