In the comics, Dr. Manhattan is one of the most powerful characters ever created but he is no hero as many might think.
Elon Muskclearly sees himself as this all-powerful character due to his skills to create so many companies that are trying to help humanity.
But Elon needs to be extremely careful to not fall on the god-complex where many comic book characters fell at a certain point.
In November 2021, Elon posted an image of Dr. Manhattan in solitude while sitting on a desolated planet but turning his back on the world.
This time around, he posted a similarimage but looking directly at humanity. It’s pretty clear that the god complex is still there but Dr. Manhattan at a certain point had a major disregard for human life and cared far more about the universe.
In recent months, Elon Musk has displayed this same level of disregard for causes he used to support. Remeber, absolute power corrupts absolutely and Musk should be no exception. But can Elon reach a point of power that someday rivals Dr. Manhattan?
How powerful is Dr. Manhattan?
We are talking about an all-seeing and all-powerful being with the capabilities to create life as he pleases. He is everywhere all at once and experiencing life in the entire universe at the same time.
Basically, Dr. Manhattan is the comics’ representation of what god would be like in real life. Elon Musk is still far from that, he will likely never get there but he can definitely approach to god-level status in our reality through his many companies.
If he isn’t careful, that love for humianity he brags about so much will suddenly disappear and he will have the power to wipe us all from existence in the blink of an eye. Wathching himself as the hero of this story is vane, he needs to be kept in check.
